REVIEW

[WARNING! THIS MAY BE A FANGIRL REVIEW. SO THE ACCURACY IS—OF COURSE—QUESTIONABLE]

I have to admit that I read this baby because of the movie trailer. The main character—Ian Hunter—is played by the one and only Nick Bateman. So, yes! In every page, I was only able to visualize Nick's abs. His is so petable—and lickable (kicked). Lol okay enough.

I never thought I'd like this book. I mean, this is RVD's book I've read. And, wonderfully, I was able to finish this baby in a night. Yes, a sleepless night.

So, this book centers around Ian Hunter and Blake Olson. Ian is a former NSL recruit and now, he's building his career as one of masterminds behind Wingmen, Inc., a successful and secretive word-of-mouth dating service. His company's record is... unquestionable. (So, if you're single now then you come to Wingmen Inc. a week—or a few weeks—later, you'd get your Mr. Right).

Then, Blake comes to request his service. Ian calls her his 'most hopeless client'. But then, when he discovers what behind her frumpy athletic gear to her unfortunate choice of footwear, he's ready to break his wingman rule number one: don't fall for a client.

I have to say I like almost everything in this book. There are minor issues, but they're covered by the story line—and Nick! The story line is so smooth. It feels so real. The chatacters are alive. They're prefect in their imperfectness. The most exciting—and enticing—part is when Ian's confused by himself, wether he has to continue his job as Blake wingman and gives her the man she longed for long time, or he finally has to admit to the world that he's in love.

"Last time we talked, you nearly killed David and managed to simultaneously break my heart in the process." (page 221)
I like the way RVD delivers this story from Ian's Point of View. You know, I rarely comfortable with first PoV let alone from the male chars, but, I'm glad to know Ian's every thoughts. This book isn't enough!
